Trying out a new pose for Melissa. Still considering whether to connect her lowerarm to the torso or not. Right now the back and shoulders looks a bit masculine & muscular. Fix that later.

Westerdock 20-06-2010

First session since March 2010. This time a Brazilian blond model. Most of these drawings are 10/15 mins sketches. I really like the results this time. Expressing light and shadows in values is enjoyable process of trial and error. It's makes sketching feel like painting.

I start blocking out my new character : An Elderly Gentleman

Not gonna push this one into a photoreal character like the old man more a study in clay and traditional sculpting.

First attempt to draw caricature of my wife. Inspired by Jason Seiler
