Still working on Lena. Becoming my favorite sculpt so far. Really like how it turn out. The neck,head, and breast area still needs some attention. Will improve that in next post.It's time to hit my bed.

First experience with Chavant Clay. Already fall in love with this clay. It feels more like river clay without getting too soft when hold too long in hands like Super Sculpey. I got this 15 cm sculpt modeled in 2 night. Total modelling time approx 8 hours.Lena is my third revision of a attempt to model a female head.

It's been a while that I post anything in 3D due to crunch time at work. I found an old project that was catching my attention. The model was like 70% done. But still didn't has the detaillevel I was hoping for. So I start rework it again this time not in Maya...Yes..Zbrush

Post of a new series of portrait. Drawn in 15 min before I hit the bed. It really helps me to relax a bit before sleeping. Almost as good as meditation.

Here below I found a nice old photograph of a unidentified soldier of the First AIF .Try to capture light and value using pencils. Still need more practice to capture the reality and subtle value changes in his skin.
