Here I start to model the muscles underneath the skin. A picture of cow anatomy was very useful to check the placement and layout of the muscles. Although the scale and body type is quite different I found it still useful as a reference.
As Mike Corriero mentioned this Quadrapeck is kind of mix of Rhino,Elephant,Yak and some reptilian tail. Proper reference needs to be found in order to have a decent start.
Since Jurassic Park. I've been always a fan of big dinosaurs. Saw this beautiful concept design of Mike Corriero in the Feb 2012 issue of Imagine FX. Fell in love with his Quadrapeck which is basicly a mix of LOTR Oliphants and Giant Hmmerhead Titanothere in Avatar.
This is my interpretation in 3D. Playing around in Dynamesh trying to get the proportion right.
